Mike Dixon heads The Field Sales & Marketing
Mike has worked within the OTC Medicines industry for over 20 years during which time he has gained considerable experience, predominantly within sales and marketing roles. He has worked with some of the major players within the industry, including SKB and Novatris Consumer Health.
In 1995 Mike joined Scotia Pharmaceuticals as the International Sales Director for their OTC arm Efamol. Efamol’s science based formulations were distributed to a total of 35 international markets.
In 1999 Mike was instrumental in setting up a new business start up, Equazen Nutraceuticals Ltd. Equazen sales reached £9.22m during 2006 and the flag ship brand eye q was established as the brand leader within the Omega 3 category. Equazen conducted a number of trials involving over 1,400 children and achieved distribution to over 30 international markets. Equazen was sold in December 2006 to Galenica, a Swiss based pharmaceutical company.
